Jordan Brand Introduces 23/7, a Shoe Designed for a Kid’s Experience

Things to Keep in Mind

Jordan Brand's 23/7 is an easy-entry sneaker that gives youngsters a sense of autonomy, self-assurance, and the freedom to pursue their passion whenever they like.

The 23/7 is a lightweight and durable sneaker with an easy-to-use step-in design, a safe lockdown mechanism, and forefoot flexibility that makes them comfortable for tots who are just learning to walk.

The shoe's many colorways pay homage to Jordan Brand lore, including the Jumpman photo session, Mars Blackmon, and the company's signature black and red colors.

Jordan Brand recognizes that young people are quick to act on impulse and value convenience and speed while engaging in their preferred pastimes. The new Jordan Brand 23/7 is a convenient sneaker that kids of all ages can put on quickly and enjoy wearing all day long. The added benefit is that it gives them a taste of freedom and self-confidence.

According to Tate Kuerbis, director of design for kids' footwear at Jordan Brand, "part of why we developed the 23/7 is because we wanted to create a sneaker that is everyday part of a kid's environment." "This shoe makes it easy for kids to get their feet into their shoes so they can get dressed and out the door to play right away." Kuerbis, who also developed Air Jordans 18, 19, 31, and 32, says the design is as thoughtful as any adult Jordan Brand sneaker. "The design of the 23/7 can be just as wonderful a process as the design of the Air Jordan trademark sneaker."

The shoe's clever step-in style makes it a breeze to get on and off. Large pull hooks make it possible for children or adults to loosen the collar more easily, and a padded heel pocket aids in inserting the foot. Rubber is stitched onto the toe and heel for durability, and the top stretches in both directions to ensure a snug, comfortable fit. Forefoot flexibility is also included in the 23/7's midsole, making it a great choice for newborns and toddlers just starting to walk. Overall, the shoe's design makes sports, and other physical activities, more approachable to the youth of today.

On January 16th, 2023, stores throughout the world will be able to purchase the 23/7 sneaker in the Bloodline hue. Later this month, the Sky Fundamental hue will make its worldwide premiere, and in February, the Dunk on Mars colorway will be made available.
